I often reformat the card because it was always a point that the cards do sometimes lose their contents and that frequent reformatting may lessen the risk. My camera worked fine up until just before my sons birthday. Any thoughts why the frame can't find the rest of the pictures...it also skipped over a folder of scanned pre-digital pictures and doesn't show them either. If you experience intermittent errors, then it could be a sign that the camera is failing.

My memory card btw is a brand new Lexar Professional. Cut a tiny piece of clear cellophane tape (use scissors to trim it), and place it tightly over the slot where the locking switch is, or was.
