From the camera, mind you, I can't even see what was on the cards. I haven't been flipping the protect tab before downloading. But i recently rented a P2 card, had it working great with my PC all weekend, brought it back to the rental shop.

I have always only had 16 gig cards. I've been using this card reader for 7 months now with a lot of shooting and never a problem. Your case is indeed the first and, so far as I know of, only case of a card failing and someone losing data. I tested in my "shop" and confirmed the issue, using two different cameras. Can't conceive of a scenario in which it would be beneficial to me to make this situation up and work through the client issues it created, serves absolutely no purpose for Waited 10 minutes for each card. - Again, placed cards in camera -- camera did not see them. - Placed cards directly into my laptop's PCMCIA slot.

I'm reluctant to have the Mac do anything to the cards but we were desperate and the director said go ahead so I tried a few repairs with the Terminal and I'm using a "Duel" card reader adapter.
