For one, GoDaddy requires special setups; see Comment#19. Considering this is my business website, I'm more than a bit peeved. I tried with the first three characters and with their provied numbers, but still no connection. Also, if you read the comments above, you'll find that most of the commenters did, in fact, solve their connectivity problems.
Having the many years of networking has made it a bit easier for me to debug connectivity problems. Hopefully one of these resources will solve your DreamWeaver FTP error problems that you're encountering.
