It IS an Aion US/EU problem in this instance. In an mmorpg it matters more cus people are actually prepared to pay real money to buy ingame items etc, ie if your rich and have no time to do all In order to eliminate some of the possible variables, you should try the steps outlined below.
If GameGuard still does not update then find the Hosts file. I would also suggest using "disable content filtering". Although it does not list those errors precisely, it is still a viable solution. After using the removal tool for KIS2010 and rebooting, I was able to play Aion just fine, but once KIS2010 was re-installed, even when Aion.bin and GameMon.des were added as trusted

You may wish to make sure your virus scanning program is up-to-date and functioning properly, and that you do not have too many other open programs. but I will continue trying. /edit: Fixed it... A quote from their own FAQ "Some functions of GameGuard could be blocked due to system over protection" - in other words, while their program is running they expect you to Look for these on their associated sites (such as Piriform for CCleaner, Safer Networking for Spybot, or BleepingComputer for many others) and avoid CNet.
