I switched timeline 10-bit video render and exported in three separated steps / Export > QuickTime movie /. If nothing changed, nothing needs to be rendered.2. See if the General Error goes away. Question… After taking my IMac to the shop to get a new optical drive put in, all the sudden my last two projects get general error files…..is there a connection here?Thanks,IvanReplyLarry

Then, I simply re-converted my original file back into ProRes and reconnected the media in FCP.
