I have uninstalled Ashampoo Firewall and reloaded. I never got the error on my XP machine with only 4 Gb RAM and smaller harddrive. That's what is baffling to me, I shouldn't be getting this error.

Why hasn't M$ provided some sort of automated tool to take care of what resides in the temp folder? That's what the forums are for. So before Acad even enters the equation, the new system requires more ram. Solution: I went to the AVG 8 Free Edition update page (http://free.avg.com/download-update), downloaded the latest Virus definition file "IAVI: /939" (approx. 31 MB) and I also downloaded the file "Windows: 8.0.233"

I find it hard to believe that 64 Gb is not enough space, so this could show up again with a bigger drawing or when my D: drive starts to fill I will try to document everything if it happens again.
